Skylar Compliance is billed as a metered annual cost: the figures below are ScienceLogic's own per-device-per-month list prices, multiplied out to a year. rConfig's figures are a one-time licence purchase, not a recurring fee, an active annual subscription is only required to keep receiving support and product updates. Is Restorepoint discontinued?
No. Restorepoint was acquired by ScienceLogic in 2021 and, in late 2025, rebranded as Skylar Compliance, positioned as a module of the ScienceLogic AI Platform. It is still actively released, ScienceLogic shipped a 5.6 build in January 2026, so there is no end-of-life angle here, only a change in name, packaging and platform direction.
How much does Skylar Compliance cost compared with rConfig?
ScienceLogic lists Skylar Compliance Standard from $12 USD per device per month, and the H/A tier from $20, metered on usage with overages invoiced in arrears. rConfig publishes device-band pricing instead: Core is free with no device limit, Starter is $2,999 for up to 300 devices, and Standard is $4,799 for up to 1,000 devices, as a licence rather than a recurring per-device fee.
